Individual Call to Scientific Employment Stimulus - 8th Edition

The support for the hiring doctoral researchers aims to strengthen the national scientific and technological system by creating employment opportunities for doctoral researchers, promoting the formalisation of scientific employment after the PhD, helping to attract and retain qualified PhD holders in the Portugal and also conbtribute to the renewal of scientific institutions.

Fulbright Research Grant with the support of ARDITI

Deadline: January 15, 2026

The scholarship is intended for PhD fellows directly funded by ARDITI and residing in Madeira, who have planned, or will plan as part of their training programme, to carry out a research period at a university or research center in the United States during the 2026/2027 academic year.

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) will hold an information session on the Calls for the Horizon Europe Research Infrastructure Program.

Horizon Europe: Advancing Ocean Science Matchmaking Event

This event focuses on a specific set of Horizon Europe calls from the 2026-2027 Work Programmes of Cluster 6 and Mission Ocean and Waters. These topics address challenges such as biodiversity loss, aquatic pollution, and sustainable fisheries. Other European researchers and innovators with relevant expertise are also welcome to attend and pitch.

Info Sessions | Calls MSCA COFUND & MSCA Staff Exchanges 2026

MSCA COFUND aims to co-finance a doctoral program or a postdoctoral program. MSCA Staff Exchanges are a Horizon Europe instrument for funding the mobility of researchers, technicians, and science managers directly involved in research at any stage of their career.
