Applications for the Call for R&D Projects in all Scientific Fields 2025 open on November 27
To support these goals, FCT launches this call to fund projects across all scientific domains, in the following types: Scientific Research and Technological Development Projects (SR&TD) and Exploratory Research Projects (PEX) focusing on original projects for younger researchers, and on ideas or concepts with a high degree of novelty that demonstrate disruptive potential, compared to previous work, for more experienced researchers. |

| Portuguese organisations are invited to express their interest in joining the national delegation for the 2026 international brokerage visits to Germany and Spain, focused on the energy sector under Horizon Europe Cluster 5. Coordinated by ANI, these visits will foster international networking, support the creation of competitive consortia, strengthen academia–industry collaboration, and boost the visibility of Portuguese entities. Participation is open to companies and non-business R&I organisations based in Portugal, with funding support available. The Berlin visit will take place on 6–7 May 2026, and applications are open until 31 December 2025. |
