One Ocean Science Congress: Scientific Foundation for the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference & UN Ocean Conference

The aim of the One Ocean Science Congress is to provide Heads of State, Government, all participants of the third United Nations Ocean Conference, and the broader society with comprehensive scientific insights into the ocean’s health, dynamics and future trajectory on its conservation and sustainable uses, and on the services and benefits, it provides to humanity. 2025 UN Ocean Conference

International Conference on Marine Bioinvasions

The event is an international forum where scientists and policymakers from around the world meet to review current challenges in the global management of invasive marine organisms and to share new developments in science and policy.

This new FCT funding instrument, with an estimated annual budget of 1 million euros, aims to strengthen the scientific capacity of the Portuguese Public Administration and strengthen its links with the Academy. Closing of applications: January 24, 2025.

The LxBWS, which will take place at IST from 11-14 February 2025, will provide a comprehensive program with lectures, practical hands-on laboratory sessions, and poster sessions on the latest developments and applications of blockchain technology. The program will also include collaboration and networking events between all the participants of the school.

This initiative intends to stimulate and recognise early career ocean researchers, seriously contributing to the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda – Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 14 and to the objectives of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.

ANI invites entities from the innovation ecosystem to participate in the ENEI 2030 Entrepreneurial Discovery Process, which will take place through collaborative structures to promote dialogue and cooperation between the various actors in the national innovation system in areas of strategic specialization for the country's development – ​​National Thematic Platforms and Entrepreneurial Discovery Spaces.
