PLASMAR + actions to support OEMs based on scientific knowledge and an ecosystem approach cover the entire EEZ of the Madeira, Azores and Canary Islands regions. Among its actions, it is worth mentioning the INDIMAR decision support system for the OEM with a total of 8 maritime activities (incorporation of floating offshore energy and recreational fishing). INDIMAR requires the improvement of data infrastructures to incorporate the new results (such as six new monitoring programs) and to support up to 4 specific applications, such as the analysis of cumulative impacts and ecosystem services or support to the EIA process. The BlueGrowth Index will inform sustainability trends and identify sectors with the greatest potential.
The main beneficiaries are competent management in the marine environment, the sectors of the blue economy and the field of research and development, and they are invited to participate in training actions.
